BSB Returns, the CFB Calendar, QB Recruiting Momentum
Bite-Sized Bison returns after a couple months away, and there's plenty to catch up on!
Bite-Sized Bison is back!
After a couple months away, I’m eager to get back to writing about a program that seems to be on an exciting trajectory in such a short time under Curt Cignetti. If you missed any of the articles from BSB since Cignetti’s hire December 1, I highly recommend checking out the archive. Most of it remains relevant.
I also want to notify everyone that Bite-Sized Bison will be subscription-based from now on ($5/month, $50/year). In an effort to keep the newsletter accessible for as many readers as possible, I selected the minimum subscription price Substack allows.
A few things on this:
If you are already a free subscriber, you can upgrade to a paid subscription at the top of the Bite-Sized Bison website (or maybe once you hit the paywall below).
If you are already a free subscriber and choose not to upgrade, you can still access other BSB resources, such as the scholarship chart and snap counts sheets. You’ll also continue to get BSB newsletters in your inbox unless you unsubscribe, and they’ll contain bits of articles before the paywall.
If you have made a “pledge” to BSB through Substack at any time, those are grandfathered into paid subscriptions, so if you don’t want a paid subscription, please ensure you unsubscribe. Pledges are a universally confusing feature of Substack, so I apologize for any confusion there.
With that said, I deeply appreciate the loyalty of Bite-Sized Bison readers. The support you’ve shown me – whether by way of simply reading the newsletters from your inbox, commenting beneath posts, or interacting with me on social media – has been encouraging, and as I’ve said many times before, I can’t believe it’s come this far. I’m glad you and I can both enjoy this, especially now that there are signs of good football ahead. I hope this isn’t an end for most of you in reading the newsletter, but if it is, I’ve greatly enjoyed your company throughout the life of Bite-Sized Bison.
Looking ahead, it is obviously the offseason for football, so most of the immediate football-related content will be centered on Spring Camp and some recruiting analysis, which begins March 21. There will also be some basketball content (men’s and women’s) sprinkled in and maybe a bit of Big Ten- and Indiana-related NFL content.
