IUFB Boosts its Salary Pool, Where Explosiveness Might Show in 2024
BSB returns to a previously discussed topic in staff salaries, and we take a look at how Indiana's offensive explosiveness could improve in 2024.
We remain a couple weeks out from Spring Camp, but there is plenty to discuss about what this team might look like come April, when fans get their first glimpse at the Spring Game on April 18. In Bite-Sized Bison, I plan to discuss some macro statistical concepts and also zero in on some select positions and players of interest as the spring moves along. There might also be some collaborations with others. Don’t be surprised if there’s a bit of basketball content in here in the near future as well.

I wrote about the staff salary pool as Cignetti was finalizing his last hires in December, and I was eagerly awaiting the specific numbers until Seth Tow at The Daily Hoosier gave us just that. Comparing the numbers I’d gathered from USA Today, I tweeted some observations that I will also include here for those who are not on Twitter.

Observations:
Based on the numbers reported by Seth, it appears Indiana has increased its salary pool from $4.89M to roughly $5.86M between 2023 and 2024.
