Week 4 Recap: Charlotte
Now that the dust has settled, let's take a deeper look at Indiana's matchup against Charlotte.
Indiana has blasted through its first four opponents, winning by an average of more than 40 points. Charlotte offered some resistance in the form of a better-than-expected offensive rushing performance in the first half, but even with their defensive talent, the 49ers were no match for the machine of Indiana’s offense.
The Hoosiers are commanding national attention each week, as their statistics (seen below) continue to open eyes. They’ve jumped another 10 spots in ESPN SP+ to 30th nationally, and ESPN FPI now has Indiana at 15th, with a 26.8% chance to make the College Football Playoff and a (shhh) 2% chance to make a National Championship appearance.
