Week 10 Recap: Michigan State

Now that the dust has settled, let's take a deeper look at Indiana's matchup against Michigan State.

Indiana continues to shock the college football landscape, as it has now reached the best start to a season in program history and leaped to No. 8 in the AP Top-25 Poll. The Hoosiers have also seemingly hit a wall in ESPN’s SP+ and FPI metrics, sitting at No. 11 and No. 10, respectively; however, those metrics account for future opponents since they are predictive measures, and one of Indiana’s final three opponents is Ohio State. More descriptively, ESPN’s FPI Resume metric gives Indiana the 7th-strongest resume in the nation. The Hoosiers are one of the best teams in the country, objectively, and when they play Ohio State, we will not only gain better insight into the ceiling for this team but also some clarity on a consideration even Indiana fans aren’t so sure of — are the Hoosiers National Championship contenders?
