How to Donate to Bite-Sized Bison
Clarifying the best way to support BSB
Hello fellow Hoosier,
I’ve received several pledges through Substack and a couple requests for the best method to support Bite-Sized Bison, so I wanted to address it directly. To be clear, this is not me requesting donations but rather offering clarity on how to do so, if you choose.
The best way to support Bite-Sized Bison is to donate a one-time payment through the secure PayPal link below (also linked at the top of BSB’s website homepage).
Pledging through Substack is Substack’s way of allowing readers to show they value a writer’s work, encouraging that writer to create a paywall for subscriber-only content and make money from their work (read more about that here, if you’d like). That message has been heard loud and clear on my end, and I deeply appreciate the commitments.
However, if a writer doesn’t activate subscriptions, they don’t receive the pledges, and I would like to avoid a subscription for Bite-Sized Bison, to maintain the IU fanbase’s accessibility to informative football content, like the pieces listed below.

Any amount you’d like to donate would be greatly appreciated and would go primarily towards my access to various databases and datasets, as well as other operational costs for producing Bite-Sized Bison. I’m not hoping to make a profit; this is not my full-time job.
